Dr Angus Gentle, working in the Physics and Advanced Materials department at the University of Technology Sydney, is a post-doc student doing a ARC Discovery project. Angus is designing a smart system to cool things down using the cold of space and the power of the sun.

Angus Gentle completed a double degree of Electrical engineering and Physics at UTS, before going on to Physics Honours and finally a PhD in the Department of Physics and Advanced Materials at UTS, and is now designing systems that will replace expensive air conditioning and refrigeration with clean, green, and free radiative cooling. for more information go to http://science.uts.edu.au
